The Southern California Entrepreneur Network (The SCENe)
Alan co-founded The SCENe with Jeff Curie in February 2006 as an informal networking group exclusively to meet the need for technology startup executives in southern California to have a local community to share ideas, brainstorm, and network. Participation in The SCENe is growing rapidly with over 50 members joining in under two months.
Members of The SCENe meet formally every month in the Orange County area and have regular, informal coffee get-togethers. The SCENe also uses internet based group collaboration tools, such as LinkedIn.com and ning.com, to keep in touch and share information.
